I really feel at peace and happy in myself when i have spent a day doing the small and simple things, being Jude's mother is my greatest work and pleasure. Juggling that with working on my record has been stretching me but I've learnt a lot from getting sick last week - now i just have to put it into practice! Thanks for your kind comment xxSarah Humphreyshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18298584305962503726noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5137470328203913202.post-47123235308849255592012-08-20T06:53:57.538-07:002012-08-20T06:53:57.538-07:00How many in your brood, Sascedar? We manage pretty well if i get one on the line and that's a VERY big if, but there is only me, one small boy and one large man! xSarah Humphreyshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18298584305962503726noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5137470328203913202.post-10698578801165636282012-08-20T06:52:54.717-07:002012-08-20T06:52:54.717-07:00It sounds beautiful, Vanessa - we have three chook...It sounds beautiful, Vanessa - we have three chooks and a bunny in the yard and my favourite moments are sunny days trudging around doing things in our lovely backyard. Together.

I know I will raise my voice, but it's also not allowed anymore - you know? Like hitting and biting and being mean isn't allowed. I'm placing boundaries and rules on myself and when I break those I WILL apologise. Not that i hit or kick or bite! I meant that for toddlers... oh dear! ;) It's late. I'm off to bed with my silly but lovely book. xxSarah Humphreyshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18298584305962503726noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5137470328203913202.post-5959771608107973032012-08-20T06:32:20.597-07:002012-08-20T06:32:20.597-07:00lovely thoughts. it's nice to have that opport...lovely thoughts. it's nice to have that opportunity to realise what you really want. but, oh my lord, if i don't get two loads of the laundry on the line each day, this place turns into a tip, and i turn into a madlady. enjoy your garden, together :)sascedarhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14851709906766532130noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5137470328203913202.post-33661293843126753432012-08-20T02:25:14.494-07:002012-08-20T02:25:14.494-07:00Sarah, this is beautiful. And why don't we add next to 'Go gently' (which I love) to 'go gentle on ourselves', because sometimes we beat ourselves up, sometimes we raise our voices and we don't play as much as we should. The herb garden is a lovely thing to do. Gardening with my boys has to be my favourite thing to do. Ever. We shop for the seedlings together, we pile horse poo into the car together and we go garage sailing together for pots and containers. So many lessons weaved into gardening. xVanessahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09205721394366642669noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5137470328203913202.post-67938786789518534752012-08-19T23:36:25.938-07:002012-08-19T23:36:25.938-07:00Such lovely promises. It's so easy to look outside of ourselves and see what we're lacking rather than looking at what we're achieving (no matter how small) in our own homes, our own families and in our own souls. Inspiring for all Mummas. Thanks for sharing :)Stephhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01077790096029386818noreply@blogger.com
